Surprise!!

I have to brag! My husband is absolutely amazing! This is the really embarrassing surprise I received today! They are beautiful, and for it being the first time Jake has ever gotten me flowers he sure out did himself! I just wanted to tell him thank you! I love you babe!!!

U of U Gymnastics Meet

Last week my parents decided to leave us all here in the cold winter weather and take off to Cabo! I cannot even begin to explain how jealous I am of them. I have had major spring fever the last couple weeks and now that it is snowing it is making it even worse. Anyways because they were gone Jake and I had their tickets to the gymnastics meet! We had such a great time, it has been a while since just the two of us had a date night. They dominated the three other teams it was unreal. I have to say the Kristina Baskett is so talented. Everytime I watch her it gives me the goosebumps. She has such a cute body I admire her greatly! She makes those meets so much fun. Anyway I have to admit that we tried taking pictures because its been a while since I have posted pics on our blog. But I could not make a cute picture if my life depended on it :-(. so no pictures this week either!!!
I also have to tell JJ and Kellie thank you very much for giving us their bedset. I have been dying to re-do our bedroom but its just so expensive we havent had a head board and our bedding was so tacky! This weekend JJ and Kellie gave us their whole set. It looks so great in our room and I am entirely grateful for them. So again thank you thank you thank you!!

Super Bowl

I dont know if many of you watched th Super Bowl last night. For me it was a different experience. The Super Bowl has always been something my dad gets so excited for. He pumps us up all week for. He buys all our favorite junk food and teaches us everything about the teams that are playing. This year however my parents are lucky enough to be in Cabo right now so unfortunately i felt the pressure to continue the tradition. To be honest the game was very boring for me until the last 5 minutes hit. I felt that Arizona played as if they did not deserve to be at the Super Bowl but the last little bit of the game proved me wrong. I do feel that if they would have played a little better defense at the end of the game they probably would have won. Over all though my favorite part of the Super Bowl is the commercials. Most of the time they have me rolling on the floor with laughter. This year there was only a couple goods one but this one had me laughing for hours! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Game Weekend!

There is not much to do on rainy/snowy weekends. I always find myself sleeping alot and acting very depressed. I was very surprised to have such a fun weekend and I am pretty sure it was all because of my new favorite game. The game is called Ticket to Ride. My parents bought Jake and I the Eroupe version for Christmas and we had such a great time playing literally all weekend long. We also have started playing a game called Settlers of Catan but I just cant quite figure out the strategy behind it and get so frustrated. If any of you are looking for a fun game to play I would suggest Ticket to Ride. Kids of all ages can play, it brings out your competitive side and makes you think. Geez I sound like a sales man, anyway its a fun game!
My Grandpa Snow just turned 73 yesterday so we went to celebrate his birthday. He is the greatest gramps anyone could ask for. Happy Birthday Grandpa!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Im hoping this will be the last snow storm of the year. Im ready for spring to come!!
I almost forgot, Jake got a new job last week and started today!! We are very excited its been such a miracle for us to both find new jobs so quickly in such a hard time! I dont know much about the job so I will try and get Jake to post his first blog and let us all know how it is going!!! Yeah!!!!

New Job!

I has been quite a while since I have blogged and I am very sorry. Last week I started a new job at Fusion Imaging. It has seriously been an answer to my prayers. I just wanted to tell everyone thank you that have prayed for me and have been there for me during this very long search for the right job. It has taken alot of patience and alot of interviews but it has finally come. For those of you who dont know Fusion Imaging is a large printing company. During the Olympics in SLC they printed the large athlete posters that hung from the buildings downtown. Since that time we will be doing the special olympics and also the 2010 in Canada. I am so excited to be part of such a strong fast growing company. I have been hired to be an Office Manager/ Administrative Assistant but there has been some bumps in the road and i am training on the Receptionist duties for a couple of months until they find a replacement and then continue to learn more about the company. It will be a great chance for me to learn the basics and then develop more knowledge over time. Just wanted everyone to know that I have moved on and am a very happy employee and very excited to see what the future will bring!!!
