Wow I didnt realize how long it has been since my last post! Quite a few things have happened. The most exciting news I have is that Jake and I are getting a puppy!!! We are so excited! My sisters boyfriend CJ bred her pure bred black lab a couple of months ago and we are lucky enough to get one of her puppies! They are so cute and we are so excited! We get to take them home on July 4. The only problem is we are having a very difficult time coming up with a name! We are getting a girl so if any of you have any suggestions please let me know because it has been the talk for the last 2 weeks!



Two bits of bad news! Last weekend Jake, myself and my family were meeting my uncle up at the lake to go boating and on the way Jakes power steering in his truck went out, along with the breaks, and the truck began to overheat! We were so bummed so our Friday night consisted of a rest stop outside of Brigham City until Jared was able to come pick us up and tow us home. Its kinda been a battle between the two of them of whos truck is bigger, better, and stronger. There has been multiple times where our great dodge has proven that fact to the Ford, but for the first time Jareds truck came to the rescue and we had to get a picture!


Last bad news...... Jake and I are no longer getting our house! We are way bummed about it and I know this post is already long so I will try to make it short. Jake has decided to officially do Helicopter school. The schooling is really expensive and you have to get all of the funding in order before you can start school so unfortunately we had to choose between our home and our education! It has been really hard for both of us but have lots of searching and thought we have decided that this is the best route to go and there will be plenty of houses again in the future! So anyways there is our bad news but everything is working out just fine and we are excited about what the future has in store for us!

Boating Begins

We had a pretty busy weekend with Bachelor/Bachelorette parites, air shows, and BOATING! I am so excited that Boating season has come. It seriously is the one thing that brings my family together because we all enjoy it. Unfortunately it was freezing cold at the lake and me being the chicken I am didnt get in the water and wore sweats the whole time. But it was still fun being out on the lake!

Flight School

A couple of Months ago Jake decided that he wants to be a Helicopter Pilot! It was a huge shocker for me and I am still quite surprised but I know it will be the perfect job for him. I have never seen him so excited to start school and think about what the future holds. So this weekend we went to the Utah Helicopter School in West Jordan. They were having open houses for potential students to come see the campus and experience what it is like to be in a Helicopter. I was lucky enough to get to go for a ride as well. Its is such a crazy feeling being above the ground in such a small machine. I seriously felt like I was on a roller coaster. But the freedom you have is unreal and its such an out of body feeling. Im so excited for Jake to one day get to experience that all day what an office huh! Anyways we are still looking around at schools trying to figure out which one will be the most beneficial for him.
