Money Pit!

We kinda had an interesting night last night. Jakes mom watches Jersey during the day at her house while she is home for the summer (she is a teacher) they live down the street from us, it has been so nice and we couldnt do it without her. When we went to go pick her up after work she told us how she was acting really weird. She is really close to being all the way potty trained and in the 3 weeks we have had her has never once peed in her kennel or crate. She had done both, and about every 10 seconds she was squatting to try and pee but her bladder was completely empty. We werent really sure what to do so we called CJ's dad (the one we got the puppies from) He told us that one of the other dogs died about 2 weeks ago from kidney stones and went through the same thing only he was in pain. So we freaked out.. Jersey wasnt in pain she was still eating just was constantly trying to go pee. So we took her to the Vet last night.

He was not able to get a urnine sample because her bladder was litterally completely empty. But after running a couple test and examining her area.... he was able to make an assumption that Jersey has a bladder infection. So $185 later Jersey is feeling much better but it could be up to 7 days before she is back to normal. Wow I didnt realize how much dogs cost. We thought we were getting a killer deal because she was free but now im starting to think that we will get to the cost real fast after all the late night vet fees.

Hmm... Ten things about me that nobody will know..

1. I am a list freak, everything I do has to have a list.
2. I am a clean freak, If Jake does the smallest thing such as leave his socks on the ground I literally cant sleep until its put away.
3. Summer is my time of year. During the winter I literally hibernate like a bear.
4. I am not a very flaky person and people that are drive me nuts. If I commit to something, you better believe I will be there.
5. I hate being late, Jake moves like a turtle and I seriously cant handle it when I know there are people waiting on me.
6. I love to exercise! There is nothing better than kicking some butt at the gym and feeling fatigued afterward!
7. Cafe Rio is my fav!!! I hate to admit it but Jake and I eat there at least once a week... (maybe thats why I cant loose these 5 pounds.. but its sooo good!)
8. I have a super close relationship with my grandma and grandpa snow! They are awesome! There is nothing better than the same joke said over and over again, and homemade milkshakes and french fries!
9. Lake Powell is my favorite place in the whole wide world!!!!! ( I havent been to many places but its still my fav)
10. Last but not least! I have the most amazing husband in the whole wide world! There is nothing better than late night talks, laughing so hard you can barley breathe, and being with your best friend everyday!

Happy Birthday!

Today is my mom's birthday. I just wanted to write a quick message about what a wonderful woman she is. My mom has got to be one of the most inspirational women out there. Everyday she has influenced my life and has helped me become a better person. She is one of those ladies that is ALWAYS smiling she is really hard to get mad at because she just has this glow about her. My mom is always looking for the good in people. She has always taught me that there is good in everyone. My mom cant say no to anyone. Her whole life is dedicated towards her family, friends, church callings, her students, pretty much anyone you can think of. She spends her days serving others and doing all that she can to help. I cant remember the last time she sat down to do something for herself. She has the best advice. I have found myself even now that I am married always calling her and seeing what she thinks before making a life changing decision. She has such a big heart and is so easy to love. Happy Birthday Mom thanks for all you have done!

Is my dog a genius?

This morning I wake up and Jersey was a little stinker through the night. There was stuff everywhere in my bedroom. She had pulled all of my shoes out of my closet, jakes socks were laying all over the floor, and she had torn her little dental bone into a million pieces. So I was not so happy. I walk into the front room to find my Kitchen towel that hangs on the stove laying on the floor soaking wet... The towel was white and red and you could tell it was slightly discolored to a light yellow. It didnt have much of a smell so Jake and I couldnt tell what had happened. She had no way of getting the towel wet besides her water bowl. So my question is do I have a genius dog? Did she really go grab the towel and pee on it because Jake and I were both asleep and couldnt let her out! HAHA I dont know what to think right now it was so crazy and will forever remain a mystery! But I do have to add that she has only peed in the house twice since we moved in on her first week! Quite impressive!

New Additions

In the last couple of weeks Jake and I moved into our new rental house and a week later we got to pick up our sweet Jersey! It has taken me quite a while to post some pictures mainly of our house because I kept waiting until the place was cute and decorated but now 3 weeks have gone by and it still remains the same, white and boring! Oh well so the house is pretty small there are 3 bedrooms and 1 bath but as you can see from the pictures that the rooms, and bathroom are TINY! But so far it has been great for us. The backyard is what did the trick. It is perfect for our puppy and will be a good change for now!

This is our cute Jersey Girl! We had the hardest time agreeing on the name! Jake has came up with the name Jersey at the very beginning and I honestly hated it. So we did all we could to come up with a name. We took her to the 4th of July Kaysville Parade without a name. Everyone was asking so of course Jake told everyone her name was Jersey and It kinda stuck. So this is now her name and I have to admit it has grown on me. She has been so good. She has only gone to the bathroom in our house twice, and has already developed a routine. Kinda crazy I have never been a dog person but she melts my heart. She is so sticking cute!

I think you all know that So you think you can dance is probably one of my most favorite shows! This season has been so good. I am having a really hard time deciding who my favorite dancer because there really have so many great ones. I will be sad to see the results tonight on who has to go. I really would be very content if Caitlin got voted off but I dont think that will happen. I dont know why but her mannerisms drive me nuts. Anyways I think this was the most memorable dance last night. It seriously stunned me. Wade Robson is seriously amazing. Janette Reminded me of Willy Wonka on the new movie haha. Anyway Enjoy!
